Basilian Associates Experience Basilian Way of Life at Annual Retreat

Ilya Kovalevskiy • July 11, 2018

The Basilian associates had an opportunity to get to know one another and learn more about the Basilian Way of Life through a retreat held in Niagara Falls, Ontario from July 6-9. They were joined by Father Norman Tanck, CSB, director of associates, and Father William Riegel, CSB who led the retreat on the theme of the Basilian vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.

Prior to departing for Niagara Falls, the associates visited the campus of St. Michael’s College School for a tour and lunch in the theatre lobby. The retreat concluded with a stop at the Congregation’s General Chapter where the associates were able to witness the renewal of vows of two Basilian scholastics, Óscar Carbajal Garcia, CSB and Eduardo Rivera, CSB.
