Third Councilor

Fr. Kersch is a native of Montreal, Quebec and the second of four siblings. He completed his primary and secondary education in Montreal, graduating from LaSalle Catholic High in 1973. He holds a BA, MA and PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, an MA in Israel Studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MDiv from the University of St. Michael’s College and the University of Toronto.

He has served as Chaplain at the University of St. Michael’s College, Pastor of St. Basil’s Church, Toronto, President of St. Joseph’s College at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, and resides at Keon House in Houston during his time in Texas.
